Incident Details: | At the moment some of your Broadband End Users may be experiencing a loss of Broadband service. | ||||||
Progress Details: | Loss of internet services for 729 Broadband customers. The root cause for this incident is an SDH transmission failure at Birchwood, being managed on IMT37980/15. A hardware fault has been identified within the SDH Network Element at Birchwood. An engineer has been tasked to site to confirm remote diagnostics and carry out the appropriate restoration actions. Replacement hardware is being ordered to site to be utilised should a hardware fault be confirmed. Remote re-routes of the affected Broadband services will be investigated as a parallel action. Next update will be issued once engineer is on site and root cause has been confirmed, or sooner should there be a significant development. | ||||||
