  Incident Details: At the moment some of your Broadband End Users may be experiencing a loss of Broadband service.


 
  Progress Details: Precision test officer is on site and has confirmed the cable has been damaged by a 3rd party contractor at Gwalchmai. Traffic controls have been arranged with an ETA to site of 18:00. Jointer resource is on site however additional resource is being sought to assist. This is a 48 fibre cable, in order to repair the cable it requires to be broken and an insitu repair of the joint will be performed. Estimated time of full restoration from when the repair commences is 5-6 hours. Estimated time of restoration not yet known. Next update will be issued upon service restoration unless there should be a significant development.
