Incident Headline: | : INVERNESS MACDHUI NODE 12012 : PARTIAL LOSS OF SERVICE
Incident Details: | At the moment some of your Broadband End Users may be experiencing a loss of Broadband service.
Progress Details: | Please note amendment to customer impact, further diagnostics have identified additional impact to Broadband customers. Engineers are en route to Lochbroom, ETA 20:30, and Garve, ETA 20:50, to investigate the cause of failure. Root cause is yet to be identified however spares have been ordered to both sites should they be required, ETAs 00:30 and 02:00. A precision test officer has also been tasked to site as a parallel action should a fibre fault be present. This system has no protection path, therefore restoration is dependant on the fault being resolved. Remote re-routes are being investigated however due to the complexity of this process, the time taken to investigate potential re-routes will be protracted. Next update will be issued once engineers are on site and a root cause has been identified or sooner should there be a significant update.
