  Incident Details: At the moment some of your Broadband End Users may be experiencing a loss of Broadband service.


 
  Progress Details: This is a child case of IMT10815/15. The on site PTO has identified and confirmed an in-situ repair is possible. This will be done by re-splicing the 2 ends of the damaged cable back together without the need for an additional cable length the be introduced. Additional resource is on site and the 2 ends of the damaged cable are currently being prepared ready to begin splicing. Splicing is estimated to commence at midday. An order of restoration plan is currently being prepared and will be supplied to the PTO once ready to begin splicing. As a parallel action re-routes of the affected PSTN services are currently being carried out and engineers are being tasked to site to carry out the physical changeover. Next update will be issued upon a significant development.
