Incident Headline: : CARLISLE MULTIPLE MUXES : LOSS OF SERVICE

Incident Details: At the moment some of your Broadband End Users may be experiencing a loss of Broadband service.

Progress Details: This is a child case of IMT10815/15. The on site PTO has now managed to locate the point of damage. A temporary cable had been run alongside a steel fence around a derelict site following a previous failure in 2011, which has been damaged after suspected ground works have taken place. Pictures of the damage have been collected and are in the process of being passed over to the MIM. The PTO has confirmed a temporary fix can be carried out to enable service restoration at the soonest opportunity using approximately 20-30 metres of replacement cable. Replacement cable is en route to site along with additional resource to assist with repair. At this time an estimated time of restoration cannot be specified. Next update will be issued upon a significant update.
